• Does it seem a shame that organizations like Goodwill and the Salvation Army can't indefinitely store donated books that don't sell?

  • Does it seem a shame that they send these books to get pulped?

  • Does it seem crazy that perfectly good kids books are being pulped while perfectly good kids have nothing?

Now You Can Do Something About It!

You can help us buy the books that would be pulped.   We buy a giant box of them for $40.  Then we take the good condition kids books -- Dr. Seuss, Harry Potter, Sesame Street, etc.  And we usually get at least a thousand. Our average price per book is about 4 cents.

So you don't have to donate much to make a difference.  Just giving $4 translates into 100 books -- enough to create a classroom library in an economically disadvantaged school. And, of course, your donation is entirely tax deductible.

Hey, we do the hard work -- getting the books, sorting them and bringing them to the kids who need them.  So help us out.  For less than the price of a latte you can make a big difference in a kid's life and the life of our country.
